Season 2.5 Episode Summaries:

Act 4:
Starbuck and Scar close in on one another. Kat pleads with her to break off and wonders if she's on a suicide run.

Starbuck flashes back to her promise of going back for Anders and giving him her dog tags to hold onto until she comes back. The memory brings Kara around and she breaks off just in time.

Scar immediately turns around and pursues Starbuck.

Starbuck tells Kat that she's going to bring Scar right to Kat and she'd better not miss.

As Scar closes on Starbuck, she suddenly pulls up and Kat appears out of Scar's blind spot. She scores a hit on Scar, who crashes across an asteroid.

Kat celebrates.

Starbuck is reserved and looks down at the asteroid where Scar crashed.

The pilots celebrate in the officers' lounge. Kat calls out Starbuck. She wants Starbuck to fill up the Top Gun cup for her. The room gets quiet as everyone waits to see what will happen. Starbuck fills up Kat's cup. Kara then turns and names all the dead pilots: B.B., Jo Jo, Reilly, Beano, Dipper, Flattop, Chuckles, Jolly, Crashdown, Shepherd, Dash, Flyboy, Stepchild, Puppet and Fireball. No one says a word including Adama and Tigh. Apollo finally steps up and ends it. Adama seconds the toast and they all toast and drink.

Helo and Starbuck work out by sparring. Starbuck says that she could have taken out Scar, but she's not sure if she could have survived. Starbuck says that even up to two months ago, she wouldn't have thought about the risk and would have gone after Scar anyway. Helo says that she did the right thing by calling in Kat so that they both came back alive. Starbuck says she did it because she can't stop thinking about Anders and that he might still be alive. Helo says that she has something to live for now. They then horse around with Helo "taking a fall" and tapping out.
