The Patriot Resource TV Series

Animated Star Trek

Premise:
The continuing adventures of the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The entire main cast (except Walter Koenig who was excluded because of budgetary constraints) returned to voice their characters.

Comments:
Star Trek and the original crew were revived in animation, at least for another 22 episodes. The writing was as good as the live-action series. Even though the animation isn't ground-breaking, the medium allowed for story elements that would've been too expensive for a live-action show. The animated series featured another appearance by Harry Mudd and a time travel episode where Spock ended up on Vulcan staying with his own family when he had been a boy. The series is definitely worth viewing by any Star Trek fan, although the show is not considered 'canon'.
