In addition to Deadliest Catch, crab fishing has been featured on two other occasions on the Discovery Channel:
The Deadliest Job in the World was filmed in 1998 and was 60 minutes in length.
America's Deadliest Season was filmed during the 2003-2004 crabbing seasons and featured among other boats, the Northwestern. This presentation was three hours in length and nominated for an Emmy.
