Éomer In The Two Towers & The Two Towers Extended Edition:
Éomer comes upon the Fords of Isen and finds his cousin, Théodred, seriously wounded. He brings Théodred to Edoras, the capital of Rohan, and home of Théodred and his father, King Théoden. Éomer reports to his uncle that they were ambushed by a party of Orcs who had the mark of the White Hand of Saruman, Gríma Wormtongue, King Théoden's advisor, calls him a warmonger, which angers Éomer. Éomer then guesses that Gríma has been bought by Saruman with the promise of having his sister, Eowyn. Gríma then banishes Éomer from Rohan under the pain of death.

As Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas are tracking the Uruk-hai who took Merry and Pippin, they encounter Éomer and a force of Rohirrim on the Plains of Rohan. After some harsh words between Éomer, Gimli and Legolas, Aragorn smooths things over. Éomer tells them that the party of Uruk-hai have been wiped out and there was no sign of the two Hobbits. In private, Éomer tells Aragorn that he has fallen out of favor of the King's court, but he offers them two horses, Arod and Hasufel to aid their travels. He then continues north to patrol the borders of Rohan.

Éomer and his force of Rohirrim reappear with Gandalf to turn the tide at Helm's Deep. Following the battle, Éomer orders his men not to chases the Uruk-hai into the forest that has now appeared near Helm's Deep.
