Ilana and Sayid kiss as they enter a hotel room. She lays on the bed and then tells him to take her boots off. As he starts to, she attacks him, knocks him down and pulls a gun. She informs him that she's been hired to take him to Guam by the family of the man he killed in Guam.

Sawyer enters Sayid's cell. He tells Sayid to hit him, take his keys and leave. Sayid doesn't want to leave. Sawyer says that they are going to kill him. Sayid intends to stay in the cell because he now knows his purpose. Sawyer leaves.

Sawyer starts to head for his cabin, but then heads for Kate's cabin. He knocks on the door. He wants to know why they came back. Kate has no answer. Just then, a burning Dharma van drives through the compound and crashes into a cabin. Sawyer calls the alarm.

The Dharma people run to deal with the fire. Jack wants to know what happened and Sawyer responds, no burning vans for three years and yet there's one the first day that they are there. Sawyer calls for all security personnel.

Down in the security center, Phil gets the call and leaves. Young Ben steps out of the shadows and heads for the holding area.

Young Ben walks into the holding area and Sayid notices young Ben and the now broken glasses. He guesses that his father did it because of the sandwich. Young Ben says he hates it there. He asks Sayid that if he gets him out of there, will he take Ben with him. Sayid says that he will take him to his people because that's why he's there.
