Gilligans Island

When rough winds toss the S.S. Minnow onto a deserted island, what started out as a three-hour tour turned into three hilarious seasons of one for the most beloved classic TV comedies of all time, Gilligan's Island . Stranded on Gilligan's Isle were Bob Denver (Gilligan), Alan Hale (Skipper), Jim Backus (Thurston Howell III), Natalie Schaefer (Lovey), Tina Louise (Ginger), Russell Johnson (Professor) and Dawn Wells (Mary Ann). The series centered on the castaways and their futile attempts at finding a way off the island.

The series originally aired for three seasons, from 1964 to 1967, and was frequently rated #1 throughout its run on CBS. Gilligan's Island went on to capture the hearts of millions of television viewers, providing audiences with entertaining family programming during its initial run on CBS and subsequently in syndication, where it continued to appeal to generations of fans of all ages decades after its initial run. The beloved program has inspired a musical play, two animated series, a trio of 2-hour TV movies and the TBS reality series, The Real Gilligan's Island.
