Currently the INSIGHTS section includes the following:
1. Notes
and Trivia - Background notes and trivia concerning the filming of Tombstone.
2. March 15, 1993 Script Draft (HTML
version; PDF
version) - Fourth script revision by Kevin
Jarre. Aside from a few changes such as the opening sequence and
the omission of Old Man Clanton, this script is what was filmed. There
are additional
scenes found in this is script that aren't in fhe final cut of the film, including
an extension of the riding scene with Wyatt
and Josephine
Marcus. This script also contains additional references to God, the
devil and hell than what made it into the final film. So much so, that it's
an
underlying
theme that is all but missing from what made it to film.
