Factory Magazine recently did a photo shoot with Jamie Bamber and they are offering exclusive prints featuring never-before seen photos of Jamie to his fans. Factory magazine is published exclusively for entertainment executives and distributed only in LA, NYC, and London. Basically these images and this magazine is not available on newsstands.
However, Factory is aware of are eagerness to see Jamie, once more, be on the cover of a magazine. So if there is enough of a demand Factory feels they could produce a special, non-industry edition outside of their normal run. Factory needs a minimum order of 1000 copies and the price quoted of 5 pounds plus shipping and handling.
I was not given a firm deadline to try to get the needed number, but I'm thinking Friday, April 13th as a target date. I don't want to say that is a firm date because, if we are close, but not quite there, we can extend the order deadline a bit. I just think it's best to provide Factory with some sort of time frame since they have been so amazingly receptive to our enthusiasm.
If any of your fans are interested please contact Mary at bambernews (at) gmail (dot) com. If you originally only ordered one copy and would like to now purchase more since you are ensured a Jamie Bamber cover, drop her a line and let her know. She will post periodic updates at where we stand with requests. Cover art previews can be found at Bamber News. |

Battlestar Galactica Season 2 Soundtrack Available Now
Finally, some news on the Season 2.5 DVD. It is scheduled for release on September 19th. Early word on the DVD states that it will include the extended cut of Episode 2.10 (Pegasus). It also is being promoted as having over 10 hours of bonus content, which probably is accounted for by the extended episode, the podcast commentaries and some deleted scenes. |
