Comments from The Patriot Resource:
This single disc volume includes the first four episodes of the Lucasfilm animated Clone Wars series. The series premiered after the release of The Clone Wars film, which actually was four episodes spliced together for theatrical release. With that knowledge in mind, it's no surprise that these four episodes have the same level of quality that the feature film had. Perhaps we had different expectation, but we actually enjoyed these episodes as much as and possibly more than some of the live action prequels.

As much as we enjoyed the volume, it feels like a stopgap since in the same release that announced this volume, there was news of a full season set with extras in the making. Now considering we didn't watch the series as it aired on Cartoon Network, this volume did serve as a nice preview as to whether we'd want to invest in the full season set when it arrives. In that light, the volume succeeded in piquing our interest in the latest Star Wars entry.
