Joshua
is one of Benjamin
Martin's employees. When Colonel
Tavington offers him and others freedom from slavery if they serve
in the British Army, Joshua tells him that they are not slaves. Tavington gets
short and says they can still have the honor of serving in the King's Army.
Later, Joshua is seen in the Gullah camp where Charlotte and
the children stay.
